The Strand Social Membership
For all the beauty that is The Strand, with its rolling fairways, natural lakes
and preserves, the gem in the setting is our Hallmark – The Club. The ambience
is complemented with exquisite furnishings and meticulously chosen artwork. Wind
your way through the Clubhouse to enjoy a gourmet meal, or relax with a good book
in the Living Room.
Members and their guests may choose from a variety of dining venues, with meals
prepared by our culinary staff and directed by our Executive Chef. The Players Lounge
is the perfect spot to start your day with our different breakfast items and our
delicious lunch buffet. The Grille Room also offers a wide variety of menu selections
for lunch or dinner. The Executive Boardroom accommodates parties of 12 or fewer,
and groups of up to 60 patrons are comfortably served in the Charleston Room. The
Strand Ballroom is spacious and refined – the perfect spot to celebrate anniversaries
or weddings.
Sink into an overstuffed leather chair and relax by the fireplace as your read a
favorite novel or enjoy conversation with friends and family. Breathe in the fragrance
of the botanical gardens adorning the north side of the club, a wonderful setting
for cocktail parties and wedding receptions. Or pull up your email on one of our
computers in our media room. We also offer a fax machine in our media room and a
printer for our members to use as well. And if you own a laptop we also offer Wi-Fi
for our members.
If you are interested in being more active our staff of professionals at the Tennis
and Fitness Complex bring Strand members the most innovative and active Tennis program
in Southwest Florida, including clinics and events for all ages and ability levels.
The Tennis and Fitness Complex offers separate weight training and strengthening
stations equipped with state of the art fitness equipment and a bistro area that
offers classes and games. Our fitness professional offers a number of different
classes throughout the year that cater to all fitness levels.
